| The Days of International Education 2010 |
|
International Education Fair “The Days of International Education 2010” will take place on 19th -20th of March at the Reval Hotel Latvia in Riga.
This annual Fair is a free access public event allowing visitors to meet more than 40 fair’s participants from UK and other countries and to get to know about a diverse range of courses with opportunities for personal and professional development and achievement. There will be presented international language schools, private secondary schools; colleges; universities; executive centres and summer camps as well as universities from the UK and other countries.
On the 19th of March at 12.00 in the Reval Hotel Latvia conference room „Sigma 1” there will take place a seminar “ What should Clients Expect from a Business English Course?” by Sue Johns, one of the Partners of Kingsway English Centre in Worcester. Sue Johns has over 25 years experience as a teacher and manager of Business English courses. She is also the Chair of BusinessEnglishUK - a special interest group of schools specialising in this market. Sue has identified 12 essential factors for a successful Business English course and will explain why each factor is important if a course is to be effective and enjoyable for mature, professional people. Many schools claim to teach Business English but what exactly is it? This presentation will help to understand what are the key points to look for when choosing a good quality Business English course in the UK .
Potential students will have an opportunity to meet representative of the UK Universities and Colleges Admission Service (UCAS), who will provide an outline of the resources available to applicants to help them make the best choices and a detailed description of the UCAS application procedure during the seminar on 19th march at 15.00 in the Reval Hotel Latvia conference room „Sigma 1”.
The fair is organised by the “Baltic Council for International Education" in cooperation with one of the leading Educational Agencies in the Baltic States - „Meridian Group” .
