Events Committee
The BCCL’s events committee is arguably the most active and most visible of all of the BCCL committees. 2008/2009 was a busy year yet again with a diverse and interesting array of events for our members, including: Six formal monthly dinners were organized at different locations, four sterling breakfasts, two commercial breaks, a regional visit to Kuldiga, our annual delegation to London, Christmas carol service and Christmas party, Pre-jani curry cook-off, bowling with the AmCham, International golf tournament and Teddy Bears’ picnic, Joint BCCL/British Embassy Clean up, and how can we forget the BCCL annual Burn’s night supper, with its Scottish regalia and fundraising theme!
